I've been immersed
in the gymnastics community for over twenty years, growing up in the sport and forming countless friendships along the way. From my days as a gymnast to my role as a coach and now a professional sports photographer, the connections I’ve made have shaped my journey. When people ask how I transitioned into wedding photography, I often say it’s thanks to my teammates and the gymnasts who have blossomed into incredible individuals over the years. I’ve had the privilege of capturing the weddings of so many former athletes, celebrating their milestones as I’ve followed their careers.
Kaley was one of those teammates, and being asked to photograph her wedding was an incredible honor. It felt like a full-circle moment, reflecting on the years we spent training together and now celebrating such a significant chapter in her life. It was a joy to witness her and Matt as they embark on this beautiful new chapter together.
Each wedding I shoot is a testament to the love and resilience of the athletes I’ve known, and I’m grateful to play a part in their stories.
